Status board
What Student Government is working on and where each item stands. Entries are written by SG and generalised on purpose.
These entries are examples. Navigate is a demonstration, so nothing below describes a real student report. Individual submissions are never published. No names, emails, room numbers, or quoted descriptions appear here, one entry often covers several reports about the same thing, and being listed is not a promise it will be solved.
This board follows problems students reported. For what Student Government itself has been doing, see SG transparency.

Recent submissions asked why some funding requests are approved and others are not. SG has logged this and will publish the criteria it uses.
Logged. Not yet looked into, and it will need a cost and a plug count before anyone can say whether it is possible.
SG is comparing which rooms are already bookable in the evening against where students say they actually want to study, before asking for any schedule change.
NextFindings go to Senate at the next meeting.
Reported to the vendor through the school contact. The machine has been marked out of service in the meantime.
NextVendor is scheduled to visit; no confirmed date yet.
Several students reported machines that take payment without running. SG collected the affected halls and passed a consolidated list to Residential Life, who have opened a vendor ticket.
NextResidential Life expects a vendor visit within two weeks. SG will re-check the halls afterward.
Reports clustered in one building rather than campus-wide, which pointed at an access point rather than the network. ITS has it open as a ticket.
NextITS expects to test a replacement access point this week.
Asked about extending evening hours during exams. SG is finding out who sets the schedule and whether staffing allows it.
Requests to extend weekend serving hours were raised at Senate. SG has asked Dining Services for the staffing constraints behind the current schedule so any proposal is realistic.
NextWaiting on a written response from Dining Services.
Outdoor fixtures are handled by facilities rather than residential life. Reported with photographs of the two worst racks.
Raised with dining services, who set portions from a count SG does not control. Passed on with the pattern of times it was reported.
NextDining is reviewing the evening count for the rest of the term.
Reports clustered in a small number of rooms rather than whole buildings. SG referred the room list to ITS, which owns access point placement.
NextITS is running a coverage survey. No date committed yet.
Work order filed with facilities. No date back yet.
NextSG will chase this if there is nothing by the end of the month.
Raised with Campus Safety, who confirmed two fixtures are out and passed it to facilities.
NextWaiting on a repair date from facilities.
A route between two buildings was reported as difficult to use with mobility equipment. SG walked the route with Facilities and documented the specific points that cause problems.
NextFacilities is costing two options. SG will report back either way.
Several reports over two weeks about the same printer. Logged with the IT service desk, who replaced a worn feed roller.
Students asked for schedules earlier so families can plan pickups. The office agreed to publish the break schedule at least three weeks ahead.
Two groups arriving for the same slot. The library found a duplicate entry in the booking calendar and cleared it.
Grading policy sits with academic departments and the administration, not with SG. SG passed the concern to the department chair but cannot change the policy itself.
NextStudents who want to pursue this should raise it with the department directly.
