Nothing here is confidential in the way a report to a counselor or Title IX is. If you have an issue that needs handling today, email sg@ncssm.edu. For anything urgent, or anything involving safety or how you are doing, talk to a counselor, your RLA or Community Coordinator, or Campus Safety directly — those routes work today and nothing on this site should sit between you and them.

What happens next

1An SG officer reads it and files it under a category.
2SG works out who owns the decision, which is often a school office rather than SG.
3A generalised entry appears on the status board with no identifying details.

Your privacy

Submissions are never shown publicly, in any form.
Anonymous submissions store no contact details at all, so there is nothing to leak later.
If you give an email, only SG officers see it. It is never published and never passed on without a reason to.
SG may forward the substance of an issue to the school office that handles it.

What SG cannot do

SG cannot change grades, academic policy, or disciplinary outcomes.
SG cannot access student records, and does not investigate individuals.
Some issues belong to school offices or state agencies. SG refers those and says so.
Anything involving safety, harassment, or a student in crisis should go to staff directly, not through this site.
